If you are looking for an upbeat tour that unravels this city’s gastronomy and art scene gems, Eat the Street walking tours may be it! Initially Jacqueline Baril, owner says, “We launched with the goal in mind to uncover the emerging dining and entertainment scene to both tourists and locals.” And with that said, they must be doing something right! Subiaco Art & Eats Tour>
Subiaco has one of the highest densities of art galleries in Perth Metropolitan area. The city has also invested big in public art works over the past 5 years with programs like Art and Business brightening the city’s alleyways.
Starting at an art gallery with a glass of local wine, guests will hear about that months exhibit and the history of the gallery form the gallery owner themselves. The tour will then proceed on to 4 food and drink establishments with both an alcoholic beverage and food supplied at each.
Between these food and drink stops you will view roughly 15 public art murals teaching the guests about the artists, and how to spot their unique styles in other works across the city.
