Castle Gorge has been on my bucket list for quite sometime now, and today it far surpassed all of my expectations.
Initially, the hike was relatively strenuous as we had to climb the Magaliesberg Mountain Range to reach our destination – the rock pools. It was a definite cardio blast but we were rewarded with weathered rock formations and views second to none. It didn’t quite end there, we now had to brave our souls with boulder climbing and jumping in order to reach the waterfall crashing into clear marine blue water.
The swim however was worth every aching muscle, scratch and bump!
