The London Beer Week that will make you celebrate
“Celebrate all things beer, lager, ale and cider with London Beer Week from 13 – 19 March at the Oval Space and in bars and breweries across London.” ~ Visit London
DrinkUp.London has unveiled its plans for London Beer Week 2017. The festival, now in its third year, will see a city-wide celebration of the amazing beer scene, culminating in the festival highlight and brand new event, DrinkUp: The Beer Edit. For three days The Edit will become the ultimate beer lover’s paradise with brews to enjoy from around the world, sipped in the capital. Tickets for this, and all the other hop-tastic events throughout the week, are available to buy now from DrinkUp.London.
THE BEER EDIT | 16 – 18 MARCH
Following the popularity of the festival hub over the last two years, and the success of The Cocktail Village during London Cocktail Week, this year the DrinkUp.London team is launching The Beer Edit, an immersive beer market at Oval Space in Bethnal Green.
The Beer Edit will feature brews from some of the biggest names in beer, including Sharp’s Brewery and the Guinness Open Gate Brewery who are both returning to headline the festival for the third year running alongside a myriad of other beer brands, some well known, some eager for discovery. With hoptails, boilermakers, food and music, there is something for everyone at this brand new event.
Entry is from just £10 per session including a complimentary Sharp’s beer on arrival, and all beers will be offered at special prices.
London Beer Week tours:
Neighbourhood Beer Tours around local taprooms and breweries will celebrate the diversity of London’s craft beer scene. Tickets will be £10 each and will include a tour of different local breweries or taprooms with a complimentary beer at each, and free rickshaw transportation between the locations courtesy of Jameson Caskmates.
The week will also feature events such as beer pairing dinners, brew days, keg parties and in-bar promotions.
Newly appointed Festival Director, Ali Dedianko says, “We are so excited for the new direction London Beer Week is headed this year. With more brands participating than ever before, this is a true celebration of all that is great in the world of beer. We’re showcasing not only the beers but the people behind the brands in this huge week long event and I’m incredibly proud to be at the helm of this.”
